2012 Best of Ohio Journalism Winners Announced

Today, the Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus Pro chapters of the Society of Professional Journalists announced winners in the five categories of the annual “Best of Ohio Journalism Awards” competition. Join Ohio’s journalists as we honor them for their work during 2011. The 2012 awards will be at the Great American Ballpark, home of the National League’s Cincinnati Reds, on Sunday, September 30. After a buffet banquet, this year’s winners will receive their awards. Guided tours of the ballpark will be offered afterward.

Welcome to the official website of the 17th annual statewide competition – “Best of Ohio Journalism Awards” – the professional development and recognition program jointly managed by the Central Ohio (Columbus), Cincinnati, and Cleveland Pro Chapters of the Society of Professional Journalists. Together, we will honor the best of Ohio’s print, broadcast, online, trade and college journalism produced in 2011.
